Autumn Term update 2012We have had to cancel Mini Maestros on 8th November - sorry!
We are having 2 xmas concerts this year on 13th December 2012.
4pm- 5pm concert - will be for our junior members including our Mini Maestros Mini s
6pm- 7pm concert - will be for our older musicians |
"It All Started at TMP"Read this delightful testimony received recently from Mrs Joyce Chasney “Emma Peacock from Thetford and Kayleigh Hughes from West Wretham both joined TMP; Emma on flute and Kayleigh on clarinet. Kayleigh also played the bassoon. She also played in the South Norfolk Youth Symphonic Band at Diss when they did a tour in the Far East, including Singapore, Thailand and Borneo. She also played with the RAF Honnington Voluntary Band.
"In 2009 Emma and Kayleigh joined the army after 14 weeks’ training at Purbright and after ‘pass out’ went into the Royal Military School of Music at Kneller Hall in Twickenham. Emma passed her ‘Phase 2’ in April 2010. Kayleigh followed her in May 2011. Both in the Band and Bugles of the Rifles at Winchester. Have just returned from 5 days in the Netherlands and this Sat will be at Norwich "Cathedral to play at the ‘Blake’ concert (the 90th anniversary of the Royal British Legion). "It just shows you how far you can go with a good start at the Thetford Music Project!” Thank you Mrs Chasney; it certainly does!  |
